John is a Senior Associate, participating in Gatewood’s investment analysis, due diligence, portfolio management and deal execution efforts.

Prior to joining Gatewood, John was an Investment Analyst at Hamilton College’s Investment Officer. In this capacity, he worked closely with the CIO on all manager research-related efforts, focusing mainly on the due diligence efforts for prospective funds, managers, and strategies and regular monitoring, performance attribution, and reconciliations of the over $1bn portfolio. John also worked at Federated Investors in various internship positions within Federated’s Investment Management Administration and Global Equities divisions.

John graduated from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Economics with an emphasis in Government and Philosophy.
